The Turns Ahead is more than a website. We are life enthusiasts who like to share wisdom and experiences. We like to write about everything from world travels to reviewing camping gear and equipment.

Born and raised on Cape Cod, Massachusetts, I was fortunate enough to be able to study at the Massachusetts Maritime Academy and got myself into a Marine Safety and Environmental Protection program..

Like most Maritime Alum, I got a job immediately after graduation and began traveling the world working on Celebrity Cruise Ship.

Fast forward to today, I am now a public health inspector, while part time running this blog of my passion for reporting my travel experiences through my writing and offering information on great gear and municipal processes.
